Genetically modified foods have many health concerns; most of these foods may cause allergic reactions in many people. More than 90% of corn and soy are now genetically modified. The rapidly growing industry of genetically modified crops is infiltrating our food supply.

Watch out for the fumes and GMOs. Not only are the kernels and oil likely GMO, but the fumes released from artificial butter flavoring contain diacetyl which is toxic to humans.

- Refined sugar
known to spike your insulin levels and feed the growth of cancer cells. Refined sugars are the biggest threat to your health. To make things worse, the majority of the sugar supply in the in many countries is using GMO sugar beets.
- Salted, pickled and smoked foods
To prolong shelf life, processed foods are filled with preservatives. These chemicals cumulate in your body eventually causing damage at the cellular level, leading to disease. So, try to avoid or limit the intake of salted, pickled and smoked foods.
- Soda and carbonated beverages
Filled with high fructose corn syrup, dyes, and other chemicals, sods provide zero nutritive value and can rob your body of the good nutrients you get from other foods.
- White flour
When the whole wheat flour is refined, all nutritional value is removed and then it is bleached with chlorine gas. White flour is also high on the glycemic index; many products that contain excess in amounts of glycemic index can lead to increased insulin resistance. It is advisable to have whole foods like unprocessed flour.
- Farmed fish
60% of farmed salmon is treated with antibiotics, pesticides and other carcinogenic chemicals.
- Hydrogenated oils
Vegetable oils are chemically extracted from their source, then they are chemically treated and later they add more chemicals to change the smell and taste. It is good to use healthy oils like coconut oil, red palm oil, almond oil, avocado oil etc.
Remember any food that is listed as diet, light or fat-free should be avoided at any costs. In order to remove fat or natural calories, they are replaced with dangerous chemicals. If you want to avoid all potential cancer-causing foods, stick to eating organic fruits and vegetables, grass fed meats and organic dairy products.
