man at deskA new research suggests that men with desk jobs are more likely to develop prostate cancer.

The study found that 30 percent of people are diagnosed with prostate cancer who spend their working lives sitting down than those with active jobs.

According to the analysis of 45,000 men aged 45 to 79, people who had highly active jobs were 28 percent less likely to develop the disease than those who spent most of their working lives sitting.

The British Journal of Cancer reports that people who spend half of their working day sitting had a 20 percent lower risk than men who spent their entire day sitting.
