This could eventually lead to a higher instance of skin cancer. Sunlight at different times of the day is stronger as well and can pack more of a punch depending on when and how long you remain in it.
During midday, from about 10am to 4pm, the sun is generally at its strongest and you should plan most of your activity for the shade during this time.
This will help protect you from the strongest rays and make you less likely to develop skin cancer. If you must spend time in the sun during this period, covering up is highly recommended.
