In tale that will possibly give hope and courage to many, Denmark’s Stinne Holm Bergholdt, who was diagnosed with Ewing’s sarcoma, a type of bone cancer, has subsequently given birth to two babies.
According to the reports, she has become the first woman in the world to give birth twice after an ovary transplant.
When she learned of her cancer, Bergholdt decided to have part of her right ovary frozen. This was done since the chemotherapy she would receive for her bone cancer would cause her to have an early menopause.
